People really want to believe in calorie restriction. Losing muscle is its most terrible side.

I came up with this:

Fasting for as long as feels comfortable, start dry, start drinking when you feel like it, say 14 hours. Then, when you dont want to fast anymore (20 hours, 5 days, you decide) break the fast by eating something small, wait a bit then feest on whatever you like as long as it has no carbs and no sugar. Keep eating as much as you like until you feel ready for the next fast, ideally longer than the one before.

After waking up, wait 30-60 minutes then cycle or walk for 30-60 minutes.

You can wash down half a tea spoon of salt for extra cortisol if you dont feel like moving. Just throw it in your mouth, dont mix it in water.

If you take lots of creatine also drink a lot and consume enough potasium and magnesium.

Should be pretty easy. 1/1000 the effort of starving yourself for the rest of your life.

So I’m going to be highly skeptical.

Where did you see this? I don’t find it in TFA. And who are you taking about?

Isn't "3–5 grams" a day the dose that is (considered) safe?

(They took 10 grams a day in this study)

"loading phase" is 20g a day. It's well tolerated as long as you drink adequate water
