Simply @ dotlink anywhere in ChatGPT — chat, space, or your dot to work with files on your machine, use local tools and projects you exposed — securely, from a single binary. - abird-ai/dotlink
Built dotlink to give chatgpt codex abilities, letting chatgpt web, the new dots and spaces, build and run tools and access files directly in your local machine.
Been using it for a while, when I'm out of codex limits or giving chatgpt controlled access to several machines without installing chatgpt app. So thought I'll package it for others to use.
It’s a single statically linked lightweight Rust MCP binary with fine-grained read/write/shell permissions, profuiles and a Bubblewrap sandbox on Linux and also works without any local port (uses OpenAI MCP tunnel) or third-party relay.
