A pushup app blocker: HonorFit locks Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — whatever you choose — until you earn them back with exercise. Honor system, zero AI, no camera, nothing leaves your phone.
Hey yall! I needed a way to cap my own phone use so downloaded one of the many "do pushups to unlock your phone apps". I loved it! The only thing I didn't like was that I had to set my phone up to track myself doing the pushups/situps etc. That part was super annoying and embarrassing when people would see me doing pushups at a gas station lol.
The app I built isn't for everyone, but instead of tracking you do the workout, it's the same idea just based on the honor system - no camera tracking! I have loved using it the past few months and maybe some of y'all will enjoy it as well!
ios/android supported!

I do appreciate the fun aspect!
But… pushups aren’t meant to be done in bulk. This almost certainly leads to wrong technique and that can seriously harm your shoulders.

Thanks @0bytes! I find I do about 80 per day with how I have the app set up and it feels like a sustainable amount to me. That said, if pushups aren't your thing, you should feel free to choose from pull ups/sit-ups/squats or even customize your own activities (w/ pro version) if you like!

It is absolutely my thing!
If you are interested, have a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/bodyweightfitness/s/EVW8u8yx9w
It links to a video that for my personal taste does the whole movement too quick. I stay longer in both end positions and do a slower ascent and descent.
Anyways, great idea, and I hope you stay healthy and uninjured!
