There’s widespread use of adblockers on the web but users are increasingly blocking cookies and other tracking scripts too. Browsers such as Safari, Firefox and Brave are privacy-focused.

I do that. I also block Cloudflare analytics. I'm not sure how much good it does, I do it out of pure spite.
I think there's a lot to quibble with in this article's methods, but it's very interesting.
