I have an agent decompiling an nes rom and game saves to reverse engineer the format, they seem pretty good at this kind of task, like debugging. About to hook in the final piece of the loop so they can iterate themselves by playing the game to change state and see how the data changes. It's been interesting, I was surprised how much they pulled out from a single save and the rom, but it's my first time doing something like this, so perhaps it's not all that surprising.
