100 paces NW of the starting position is an invisible patch of grass where the author forgot to include a height check. Press E and you teleport to the Colony Craft, far above you. This bug has gone unnoticed for 41 years!

Nice, how did you find this? Does it make for a speedrun sequence break or does one still need other items before exploiting this?

Omg. Mercenary was a game that left a huge mark on me. I played it on Commodore PLUS/4 when I was 9. The freedom to explore! The hidden elevator far outside the city. The destructible buildings. The satellite!
