Hey HN! I originally wrote an infrastructure visibility tool about 20 years ago, and I've spent the last while rebuilding and modernizing it from the ground up. It's called TopoTrace: lightweight agents report installed software, patch status, certs, firewall states, and disk usage back to a central server. Instead of dumping a wall of raw metrics or log lines for you to manually sift through, it aggregates everything into a fleet-wide risk queue. Every finding maps directly back to the physical evidence collected by the agent, so you know exactly why it was flagged. I just pushed it live this week.
