OpenRouter is primarily built around language-model requests and text-generation contracts. ComfyRouter is built around generative media: large assets, model-specific creative controls, asynchronous jobs, progress and delivery, and multi-step Comfy workflows.

Studios, app builders who needs generative content, gaming, the list is actually quite long. The generative media is overshadowed by LLM right now, but definitely scaling up fast.
