This looks like a straight LLM output and yet it's sitting third place in my front page.

Is HN getting astroturfed recently? I feel like a lot of clickbaity low effort content makes the top but it might just be my impression/bias.

Yep, It was all AI generated. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to get anywhere near the front page.

I actually built this because I didn't have access to fanout.sh

It's funny because fanout.sh looks AI-generated too.

A bit like asking your agent of choice to reimplement a lib only from its docs because you don't like the license (I've seen it done, but not me I swear!).

Feels like its generated with the speed of light. Is the content linked actually quality content or are these convenient suggestions that rolled out of GPT/Claude?
dnoberon10 days ago
Not really. This seems like it's someone who told Claude to find the most popular system design Youtube and sort them into a simple React site

This site could have been 10 little markdown files and would have served the purpose better.

I have a bad habit of asking my LLMs such questions repeatedly..
