<p>I'm currently reading "JavaScript for Kids" and it's a whole lot of fun. Though marketed for children I think that humans of any age could get a lot out of it if they wanted to start learning JavaScript. If technical books were more like this, with fun illustrations and frivolous use of exclamation marks, I'd read a lot more of them!</p>
